this is where i'll be hosting the changelog for my Pizza Tower fangame, Code Column.

Change log:
5/25/23: release
5/26/23: did a lot of work today. let's see: added music for laps, L rank, key binding, taunting correctly stops the player, taunting at the gate rewards points, during laps 10 and higher the levels colors change, new mr ball graphics, slightly changed how breaking the metal block works, changed how ranks work, now working on a percentage system instead of fixed amounts per rank, and fixed a bug in scene 6 where the ground was 1 pixel too high. whoops!
5/27/23: added audible indicator when scratch is at full speed, and also he flashes white (just like pino! real!) also changed mr. ball's laugh sfx to a more fitting one
5/31/23: fixed visual bug where scratch's after-images would become full opacity after the white flash
6/1/23: added timer, fixed sprite rotation bug if you turned while super jumping or taunting
6/2/23: - HUGE UPDATE!!! SCORES POSTED BEFORE THIS POINT ARE OUTDATED, SORRY!!! :( - Added a Combo meter, made new sprites for Building Bob (that's his name now) added Bill, collectables now respawn during escape, levels now have outlines, small level design changes, complete P-Rank overhaul, now they require an unbroken combo through the level, new effects when killing Building Bob, and added a music volume slider on the settings screen
6/4/23: fixed ranking music
6/25/23: fixed all the spots where you can get stuck in the ground i hope
6/28/23: fixed ranking music again
8/18/23: fixed a wall that would get you stuck in the room before the super jump /double jump room
10/5/23: added a bunch of new sprites and stuff for when you're playing as bill (tv, title card, "the bill and bike power hour!" card finally has a proper graphic after being a placeholder for 4 months) have fun with your extra bills
10/8/23: added new sprites for the lap portal, also changed it's position (FINALLY) to an easier spot. also added Hard Mode, and a warning about getting stuck because i once again FINALLY figured out why that was happening.
10/9/23: fixed bill not being hidden during the hard mode death animation, also fixed bill's tv sprite not appearing until you enter and exit top speed. the lap portal now gives 8 seconds during hard mode as apposed to 10, as i thought it was a smidge too easy. though, to balance this out, every tenth lap gives you 16 seconds. new music plays after lap 20 in hard mode, and i'm also working on randomized events. current ones implemented are "Broken Timer" and "Mr. Ball's Distraction"
10/12/23: Fixed the broken timer event sometimes giving you an impossible amount of laps to complete within the allotted time due to rounding up instead of down
10/13/23: removed Patrick-Gasted Flaber-Gasted because of stuff with it's creator :(. also removed sugarcube hailstorm because it was just taking up a lot of space and sounded weird too, both songs are replaced with Thousand March. Fading between scenes is now a toggle and is turned on by default. Also replaced Hard Mode's falling brick background with rain. Added new sprites for the WAR timer during the broken clock effect. also fixed the impossible amount of time bug from yesterday again. Also shortened some songs to cut down the project's filesize, and removed Blue Licorice aswell :( (not for any particular reason, just because I just needed a song to remove and Blue Licorice was the shortest one (and it played during the higher laps too so you weren't exactly hearing it much either...))

Finally added secrets! There are 3 in the level (and only one you really only have to sort of look for, so they're not neccisarily "secrets".. XP You need to visit all 3 secret rooms in order to get a P-rank!
If you have infinite laps off, the new cap is 2 instead of 10. Timer refreshes 9 seconds instead of 8 to make things easier. New rank icons, added a new room in the starting area (this will serve a purpose later trust me) Mr. Ball now starts chasing you faster in order to make him an actual threat...
The S-Rank requirement is now 850 points due to the addition of secrets. Have fun !!
Today I reached a milestone aswell, I had to create a seperate webpage just for this game's changelog! Wowie! And you're reading it right now! Isn't that neat??
10/23/23: Added grabbing! Now you can even fasters !!! :3
11/15/23: BIG UPDATE!!! HIGH SCORES BEFORE THIS POINT SHOULD BE FINE HOWEVER!!!
Fixed grabbing, now it's not nearly as overpowered. Also added diving! If you're currently running and begin to fall, you can go in a straight line downwards!
New feature !!! After reaching a combo of 25, you can parry Mr. Ball to rid of him for about 10 seconds! Once you use this however, you must recharge it...
New level(??) Tutorial!! Teaches you how the moveset functions and some ins and outs of the game...
Changed how title cards work, now slightly less sucky!
And more I've probably forgotten about!!
